Exchanges & Returns
Please note, we are a small social enterprise based out of Kathmandu, Nepal. We put most of our resources into our art and have part-time assistance with admin. We answer all emails in the order in which they are received. You can typically expect to hear back from us within 48 hours on regular business days.
We guarantee the quality of all our bracelets at Lotus Sky. Our bracelets carry a lifetime guarantee with normal wear. In the unlikely event that you receive a bracelet that is broken or damaged in transit, we accept returns and exchanges. Please reach out to us via email within 3 days of receipt in order to request an exchange or return. Please contact our Creative Director, Sarah, at firstname.lastname@example.org.
Returns: All sales are final unless you receive an incorrect item or a piece that is broken or damaged in transit. Please reach out to email@example.com if you believe you qualify for a return. Returns are typically processed by Erin, our one-woman shipper in Michigan, within 2 business days upon receipt.
**Please review our shipping guidelines HERE before ordering for Black Friday, Christmas, or the New Year. Unless you order via Priority Express by December 18, a Christmas delivery is NOT guaranteed by USPS due to the pandemic, employee shortages, and unprecedented online ordering.
Any holiday returns are subject to our regular return policy except that they are additionally eligible for store credit only. The store credit is for the original cost of your returned items, less shipping and our restocking fee.
Our project supports over 120 women and their families, which is more critical now than ever with so many husbands, brothers, uncles, and fathers out of work as the tourism industry has ground to a halt in Nepal. The Lotus Sky women ensure the protection of the most vulnerable in the communities, the children, in a country that lacks a social welfare net. It additionally took Sarah and Erin considerable effort to ship all holiday orders same or next day. Once your selections were ordered and shipped, they were unavailable to another customer. The combined impacts of the pandemic and limited stock means that every single holiday bracelet sale has been extremely important to our small business.
We cannot accept returns simply due to carrier delays, particularly in the case of First Class and Priority Mail selections made after our advised order dates. Thank you for your understanding and support of women-led social enterprise!
Exchanges on domestic orders: We charge a $6.00 handling fee for orders that are exchanged. This $6 covers Erin's time restocking your return and the cost of shipping out your new selection.
Exchanges on international orders: You will be responsible for all shipping costs to mail the package back to us. Once we receive your exchange, we will send you a checkout link for shipping and we will email you tracking.
Sale items and custom bracelets are final and are not eligible for returns or exchanges.
Custom bracelets means customized size requests, special orders, custom designs.
All sales are final. However, we understand that sometimes the moment after you order, you see your new favorite bracelet pop up on the site and want to modify your order. Please reach out to us at firstname.lastname@example.org ASAP and we will do our best to adjust your order before Erin pulls it to be shipped.
