Lotus Sky "Sisters Under One Sky" Monthly Club *3 bracelets*

Each month receive a stack of three bracelets crocheted by a featured Lotus Sky Craftswoman in training with our "Sisters Under One Sky" program led by Lotus Sky Craftswomen Nima, Pema and Sangye.

The three bracelets will represent never-before-released designs and will showcase the talent of a specific woman soon to graduate to our Studio Team.

You'll additionally receive a special card with information about your featured crocheter and a bit about how she came to participate in Sisters Under One Sky.

Bracelets sets are typically shipped in the third week of each month with some variability due to shipping logistics out of Nepal.  As soon as our US-based shipper, Caroline, receives the bracelets for each month, she will get them in the post as quickly as possible!

What is "Sisters Under One Sky"?

Our training program is called "Sisters Under One Sky" because it unites women from different backgrounds and cultures with a common purpose:  economic empowerment and "investable" wage careers that mean life-changing opportunities for themselves and their families.  Regardless of our backgrounds, we are all "sisters" under one sky and must unite to improve access to opportunities for women globally!

While crocheted beadwork is a traditional craft within Nepal and there are many dealers recruiting women from Kathmandu and surrounding villages, Lotus Sky's ethics, wages, safe-space work environment and dedication to empowering female leaders means that we have a long waiting list of women wishing to join our team, including those who currently work elsewhere.

For many of these women, their participation in Lotus Sky is the first time they have been exposed to an environment of all female leaders.  It is also the first time they have been able to DEFINE the definition of "fair" in collaboration with other women, rather than simply being told by a male leader what constitutes "fair" for his business.

Sisters Under One Sky has trained over 250 craftswomen to date, led fully by a team of young women who believe that uplifting women is the key to uplifting the whole community.
