Lotus Sky "Sisters Under One Sky" Monthly Club *3 bracelets*

Each month receive a stack of three bracelets crocheted by a featured Lotus Sky Craftswoman in training with our "Sisters Under One Sky" program led by Lotus Sky Craftswomen Nima, Pema and Sangye.

The three bracelets will represent never-before-released designs and will showcase the talent of a specific woman soon to graduate to our Studio Team.

You'll additionally receive a special card with information about your featured crocheter and a bit about how she came to participate in Sisters Under One Sky.

Bracelets sets are typically shipped in the third week of each month with some variability due to shipping logistics out of Nepal.  As soon as our US-based shipper, Caroline, receives the bracelets for each month, she will get them in the post as quickly as possible!

What is "Sisters Under One Sky"?

Our training program is called "Sisters Under One Sky" because it unites women from different backgrounds and cultures with a common purpose:  economic empowerment and "investable" wage careers that mean life-changing opportunities for themselves and their families.  Regardless of our backgrounds, we are all "sisters" under one sky and must unite to improve access to opportunities for women globally!

While crocheted beadwork is a traditional craft within Nepal and there are many dealers recruiting women from Kathmandu and surrounding villages, Lotus Sky's ethics, wages, safe-space work environment and dedication to empowering female leaders means that we have a long waiting list of women wishing to join our team, including those who currently work elsewhere.

For many of these women, their participation in Lotus Sky is the first time they have been exposed to an environment of all female leaders.  It is also the first time they have been able to DEFINE the definition of "fair" in collaboration with other women, rather than simply being told by a male leader what constitutes "fair" for his business.

Sisters Under One Sky has trained over 250 craftswomen to date, led fully by a team of young women who believe that uplifting women is the key to uplifting the whole community.

As pioneers in the "Know your Makers" movement, each and every Lotus Sky bracelet is carefully handcrafted by an official member of our all-woman team in Kathmandu, Nepal. This direct funnel from artisan to consumer connects you with the actual artisans behind your bracelets and means that money isn't wasted in the sales funnel on third party dealers or distributors.

We are 100% woman run and operated because we know that when women have access to reliable income in a healthy, sustainable, and supportive environment backed by sisterhood, they make economic decisions that result in empowered communities, increased educational opportunities for themselves and their children, and medical access. Their lives and communitites are transformed! 

Perfect Fit

Original sized Lotus Sky bracelets are crocheted to an approximate length of 7 inches, so that they have an inside circumference of about 6.5 to 6.75 inches.  We have found that this is the preferred bangle size for the majority of women.

We crochet our bracelets on hand-dyed natural cotton thread, so that they have a slight give to easily and comfortably slide over the largest part of the hand, while still resting perfectly right below the wrist bone.

If you are not quite sure that our original sized bracelets will fit you, there are two helpful measurements:

>>> If the length across the top of your hand, from your index finger knuckle to your pinkie knuckle is around 3 inches, our original sized bracelets should easily slide over your hand.

>>> If your wrist circumference is anywhere between 5-6.75 inches, our original sized bracelets should fit.  However, if you prefer more wiggle room or a tighter fit, you can downsize or upsize appropriately.

Our bracelets are by women, for women.  Therefore, we know that bracelets should not be "one size fits all."

Standard US shipping is FREE for $45+ orders and is $4.00 for orders under $45.

Canadian orders ship FREE for $55+ orders and is $20 for orders under $55. 

Australian orders ship FREE for $65+ orders and is $20 for orders under $65.

Netherlands orders ship FREE for $50+ orders and is $20 for orders under $50.

New Zealand orders will ship directly out of Nepal directly via your choice of DPEX for a flat rate of $20 or DHL Express for a flat rate of $30.

All other countries ship USPS First Class for a flat rate of $20.
